The rain has beaten us!  Sports afternoon at Drymen Primary on Friday 18th May has been cancelled.

The p6/7's are organising a photo competition that is running between the 27^th of April and the 10^th may.
All photos must feature Living Things. You have one fortnight to take your pictures.

This year brought a new challenge to the Buchanan Easter Egg designers - the entries had to relate to the theme of 'The Olympeggs'.  What's more, each entry had to include three recycled materials. 

The results were fantastic as always and the eggs can be seen by clicking the 'Read More' link.

Strathendrick Tennis Club's Junior Coaching gets underway on Sunday 22nd April until Sunday 10th June.  An 8 week block of 1 hour group lessons on Sunday mornings for just £28.

Our Primary 6 Euroquiz team had a very early rise on Friday 2nd March.  The children left at 8.15am along with the Drymen team as they had to be in Alva before 9.30am in time for the start of the quiz.

Here is a collection of web based games which will help with learning the times tables.

To celebrate World Book Day we invited all of the children (plus adults) to come to school dressed as a character from a favourite book.  We had lots of characters assembled in our Hall at 9am!

Early warning!!!  Our next RAG BAG collection will be on 23rd May so your Easter Holiday task is to get these wardrobes cleared out!!

To Parents, friends and community

As part of our ECO work this term, we are finding out about Fairtrade. We would like to show you what we have been doing and share some of our information with you.

Why not pop into school on Thursday 8th March between 1.30pm and 3.15pm when you can enjoy a cup of fairtrade tea or coffee plus biscuits while we chat to you about what we have been learning.
